If you are interested, This is a lower price than I paid over a year ago at the Tanabe website! I can honestly tell you these are brilliant! They have a deep throaty sound when you mash the pedal, but run nearly silent at hwy speeds.
Here are a few pics of them on my 09 M35 if you're wondering how great they look:

They look much better with the eye and when cleaned and polished. Lots of rain yesterday so a nice coating of road splash on them at the moment.
I believe the muffler shop I used charged me about $100 to install - no extra parts or modifications needed. They simply swapped them out at the flange.

Glad to see those fit 2009 MY as well. Only literature I could find was 05-07.

Tried to read most of the posts on axle back exhausts. 2009 M35X, 151k. Dealer just informed me that one of the mufflers needs to be welded. $1700 to replace both with new or $450 to weld the rusted flange. nah. Been looking and listening to the various aftermarket options. I want to keep the sound as stock as possible. Seems like Tanabe might be what I'm looking for, but would like to hear feedback. Most of the comments are more performance-oriented. Appreciate the help.

Last I checked, you should be able to find OEM replacement mufflers online (rockauto?).

From my experience the Tanabe is very docile on the G37 so I cant expect any difference on the M35. Dont think you can go wrong. Let me know if you are interested in purchasing and I will get you taken care of as a forum member.

Thanks for the responses guys. I looked on RockAuto and saw aftermarket Walker, etc, but didn't see any OE mufflers. I decided to go with Tanabe in the spring when I can work on the car. I haven't noticed the car getting louder yet so I can wait a few months. Thx RED_DET I'll contact you in a few months.

To me need some Japanese mufflers imported the tips of all aftermarket spec mufflers way to small for Ms to get the right look 2006-2010 needs 3 inch to 3.5 inch tips quad only see in Japan aftermarket mufflers with that spec. I hate my Megan 2.5 quad is just ridiculous

I"m interested in these. Just to confirm, no mods or extra parts are needed to install these? I would be doing this install myself and want to make sure if I need any additional tools to install these?

Unbolt old mufflers and bolt up new ones. You will need tools, no other parts necessary.

You will be VERY pleased with the deep growl when you give it the beans, and nicely surprised how quiet the interior is when on the motorway. I highly recommend these! Thank You RED_DET!
