Hey Silent Drifter,

It's cool that you're trying to get a meet thing going on in Tampa. I don't want to flame you for trying but you didn't read the sticky that jEzTeR posted regarding posting in this forum. :( I went ahead and copied that link for you in case you don't find it.

Put the Date and Location in your Subject!

With that said, I hope everything goes well with your meet. :)-kenny

Id go up there too, but my car is nowhere near fast. Just a warning, Tampa peeps dont play around when it comes to racing.

thats for sure. And make sure your car is good for the top end. You cant race from the start on the Gandy bridge. YOu would usually have to start at no less than 30 mph. And be prepared as there are LOTS of turbo charged cars that are great for the top end. Oh and make sure to slow down at both ends. There are cops at both ends with radar guns waiting to pull anyone over. One mile per hour over is all it takes for them. but the bridge is like well over 2 miles so you have plenty of time to race and slow down. Oh and HB, almost everyone near the tampa area is familiar with the gandy races and knows it takes place on midnights every saturday. So essentially he did put a date and location on it. Have fun in Tampa Silent Drifter.

I kinda figured that SD, anyways its hard to watch them race. Its really more fun to race your self. In order to watch you have to follow behind the racers as its a 2 lane bridge. just a heads up for you. there are lots of cars of waiting on the ends though. Theres a scetion for each car so look out for the nissans. I might even go there this weekend so look out for my car. Oh btw, its missing a 1/4 panel :(
