Talon gets a turbo, S14 gets SR20.

Well, the BF and I figured out the game plan, if anyone read my prior thread on this issue.

The Laser is getting raped for it's turbo parts and the '92 n/a Talon is getting b00sted. Laser just has too many problems.

Then, once we pay that bastard off (yes, we're paying on it), I'm taking out a loan to get an SR20DET for my car. So, with any luck, my car will be SR-powered by the end of the year.

It's great to have a plan.

personally .. I would say save up the money just because adfter you pay it off with interest.. you will hate it cuz you wills ee how much you paid for interest that you could have put into the engine itself

Yeah, unsecured loans have real high rates. That's the reason why I'm waiting...waiting...waiting endlessly to get my blacktop.

Of course, I need to get a house and garage first, but that's no excuse, right?
