I don't know why, but for some reason I am craving a red Z-car. My hubby would kill me if I told him I wanted to trade cars.

I figured, I was

They are very nice. Wife test drove a white one with the suede leather and REALLY liked it. I still like the size of the G's much better. Like having the room.Would be nice to have both!! A manual Z would be fun. I think it comes down to room....if you don't need it and you want something that feels even more connected to the road, go for it!!

Oh yeah....it would be manual. I don't know what possessed me to buy an automatic.

I feel like I am just carrying two useless backseats around. Maybe one day I might just go look. I wonder if they have the same crappy paint my car has. I think that is one thing that is making me lose the love for my car. The crappy paint and all the chips and swirls. I did all that work and detailing and got all the swirls out now it is all swirly again.

A black automatic.....I must have been on crack.

I really like the Z. I drove one. For a sports car, they are quite comfy. I dream of having a Z as my weekend Car. Absolutely must be Manual. My second vehicle would be either a Titan or an FX or some suv/truck... but no, Becki, your G is super awesome. There are guys in Zs wishing they had 5 grand to upgrade to the G for the back seats and sexy luxury-ness

You just need to protect that paint better. I'm not in the least bit sad about having a automatic. I'l have a transgo shift kit soon (hopefully) and then I'll be shifting faster than all the 6MT guys could wish for.

If you need more power, I'd love to throw out a few suggestions

Trust me, the extra seats are a good thing. I know, I know, you might not use them often but when you only have 2 seats thats when you start needing more seats and you wish you could show off your car to more than 1 passenger at a time.

I, for one, will not talk you out of a Z. It's a fantastic car that you would have tons of fun with. I was considering one when I bought my G. The comfort tipped the scales in the G's favor, not the extra seats. Back seats are pretty much useless in my world as it's just me and the wife. I think I've had 3 people in the back seat of my BMW in nearly 8 years of ownership. So if you don't have people you need to lug around, go for it. Ya only live once.

It isn't the power that is an issue. For sure, the Z and the G are both strong. There is something about letting the clutch out and feeling the car pull that I really miss.

I do love my G. I don't think I could live without my music box. Right now....I guess I'm just living the Nissan dream. Maybe my next ride.

It is really funny. For years I have really hated a red car. Now for some reason....I really love them. Weird how that happens.

Women are allowed to change their minds, right?

I love the 370. They are sexy.

Becki if you trade your G you'll love the feel of the 370 but you would miss bunch of things from your G. Why not just sell your camaro and get a smaller sport car. Maybe an 03 Z or a S2K or even a little Miata. I know they ugly but you can have some fun in it. I personally only would buy the Z or maybe the S2K if I were you.

I hear ya on that one. It's made me consider going outside the Nissan/Infiniti family to, dare I say, Ford? But if I did that, I would be getting a SUV. Would love to get in a new MB, love the new designs, but can't afford that at the moment with some other larger purchases being planned for the near future.

MB I like it too. Don't know much about themfor the last decade but the new design catches my eyes quite often. If the interior is as good and the quality of the material is good. I might go for it once I am ready.

Becki have you tried the SLK? You can get a used one for prettty good $$> LOL

I'm just not a Mercedes person.

I had a good drive to work today. I really do love my G. I don't think I could live without my music box. I guess I was just dreaming. I would probably lose my azz on my car. I bought it right before the economy came crashing down and I really didn't get a very good deal. I still might go look at a Z one pretty day if I get a chance. If I ever became rich by some strange stroke of luck, I would have me about a 10 car garage. Nothing fancy like the garages that were posted earlier, just a good assortment of fun cars to drive.

here's a reason:

be thankful for what you've got rather than what you don't have. often times, if want something, you don't need it.

trust me, there is no car in the world that I would rather have a BMW 850i. but that car does not make sense for me right now at this point in my life.

I used to want one of those 850i's REAL bad about 5 years ago. Then I had a talk with a BMW master tech. My therapy sessions will be complete in 2 months.

SVT....you are BAD!

Only thing I have done so far is found a beautiful pic of one for a screensaver. I will need a good sunny day when my hubby is out playing golf. That is how I got my Camaro.
