Do whatever you think will make you happy.

Unless this car has some crazy sentimental value to you, you can always come back with another piece of metal.

If you're tired of all the headaches associated with owning an older modified car, then i would say do what makes you happy.I don't like dealing with older cars anymore than anyone else but buying a new car is just plain expensive. Also, owning and driving around a lowered Japanese car can be a pain in the a**, especially in California.I'm always looking around for cops and crap but it's the price you pay.I get pulled over doing nothing wrong, driving at or below the speed limit and get asked all sorts of questions like, have you been arrested, do you have any weapons of drugs, is everything legal under the hood?I'm sure they don't ask these questions to most people they pull over.

I could buy a new Camaro or something and could probably have the hood removed with a huge supercharger blocking half of the windshield and zoomies poking out behind the front tires and do a huge smoking burnout across the intersection right in front of them while they are hanging out at their favorite donut shop and they wouldn't do a damn thing. If i was to get pulled over, the only questions i would probably get asked is, how much power does it put down, what does it do in the quarter and stuff like that. But hey, what can you do? Everything has it's pros and cons. If the pros don't appeal to you anymore and the cons are all you see, then do what you must.

Ok so if what your saying is true then you want us to tell you with hard facts why you shouldn't sell it. Well I know for a fact that no matter what we say you will do what you feel is what you need to do. Now that being said I have had a car way older that your 240 a 1966 mustang and thru 9 years I have built that baby from the ground up (and I'm 16) I did all the work on it myself from engine to chassis to body work (which is now flawless) to everything and I am pretty sure that I have had twice as many problems as you with that stupid thing but never once have I ever thought of selling it because it was "to much of a hassle" the whole point of owning an older car is to fix the problems because its what you like to do I guess I'm not like most 16 year old's in that I dont give up on things if I can help doing so. Now I know everybody hates us younger kids and think that we have no idea what the hell we are saying and your right I still have much to learn but I know what is my passion and that is cars and personally if you want to sell it go ahead we cant stop you but stop and think of all the good times you have had with that car and how much more hassle it will be to build another one because you know youll get one again.

Unless monetary value outweighs sentimental value then you won't be happy when you sell it.

dude you should check if youve got them, and check the specs. if theyre good sizes i call dibs on that ish.

Green, im not trying to get rid of a pair of 18s just to gain a pair of 17s. im gonna use my second pair of kais for spares at the trizzack.

and im not going v8. im just talking out my a**.

Dude first you need to raise the mofo off the ground! Its to low to drive everywhere without somethin fallin apart, and if you lower it people might wanna work on it lawlz. Secondly get the Sr20 if you don't have it. While your swapping the engines out you can check for all the other problems an clear um up.

Oh my bad i didnt read the second page lolz

not to sound like a complete d!ck thats been on this forum a lot longer than you or anything, but youre new. so you obviously dont know me.

i will not raise my car up. and i will not get an sr20 because some fanboy tells me to.

and no toyota motors either. i just got in a rut. KA's kickin, 2 ways lockin', front tires are rubbin', and its all gravy.

Sell your car douche. Move on to bigger and better things. I don't regret parting the Red Dragon one bit.

No "headache" is nice.

Extra cash cause I'm not spending it all on my headache is nice.

Buying the bike in full and having an extra 5 grand padding my paychecks was awesome.

Et cetera.

Only two negatives: getting half of the 20grand-ish I had into it out, and every once in a while I'll see old pics and miss it, but not regret it.

But since you'll be gay and keep it, my SR long block is still for sale.

Rebuilt it myself (probably the last straw lol, don't want to work on a god damn thing after that, not even the bike).
