Hey in that picture there did he weld in extra supports in the engine bay? It almost looks like a little roll cage for the engine.

That ain't nothing compared to my Briggs OHV with NAWWS yo. Drop the cluth at 8k, and the thing will run the 1/4 in under a minute yo. It's tight.

Ther is a point when a car with a wing becomes a wing with a car. This is such a case...

Where's the hottie? There's always some hottie... they're like a dealer option in japan... you buy the wing... you get the hottie.

I don' think you guys understand....this car NEEDS the wing. Wings were actually invented to make a car stable at high speeds. Most ricers don't know that. I'd bet money that without this wing, the car would probably want to fly. Literally. As in the air.

I saw an F1 race once where a guy was flying down a straight at like 180mph, and his wing came off. The car picked up and spun like a flying saucer. I bet this car needs one almost as bad.

I mean, the thing has a highly modded RB26. Heck, I bet it's actually stroked to 2.7L. If you have to weld in extra frame supports in the engine bay, your car ain't slow. I am SURE this car needs a wing that big, and I am *NOT* being sarcastic.

Yeah, girls in the U.S. maybe....

But this picture is from Japan. A japanese girl does not go crazy of Altezzas and neon lights.

there is a video of an fd taking flight out at the salt flats or something like that. im sure everyone has seen that but thought it would be relevant to the car flying aspect.

might i ad, that for a wing to get the most drag it has to be above the roof of the car.. some cars do need wings.. just not FWD cars....

FWD cars need wings to if they have as much power as the RWD cars that need them.

A car will get light regardless of what wheels are driving it.

Its unfortunate when people base their knowledge/observations on what they see in the lower levels of the import scene. (most honda's) Look at the way the wing is constructed and attached, the way the body panels are attached, not to mention the subtle roll cage. ;) Consider the venue, with due respect, this isn't HIN or some other "Show" Show. There are all show cars in Japan, however most enthusiats are careful to consider functionality when modding cars. If Motorex had a custom built Skyline with monster turbo setup w/ the same wing would there be similar comments?

PS. As I hear 'tegs/honda's w/ fart cans pass by my office.....

The wing is huge, but its there solely for functional reasons. Im sure that rb is tuned beyond belief and the car needs plenty of downforce. Their custom strut tower brace is interesting. Probably makes the chassis even stronger since its welded in the engine bay.
