Gonna get an RB25 in a few weeks from Jarco here locally and toss it in my s14. already have a custom front mount and i guess i'll throw my t3/t4 on there, that would be an upgrade right? i think the motor comes with just a t3 on there. boost the hell out of it. i wonder what they max out at with stock internals???? more info to search out!!!!

Jeez you make it sound like you're getting married. (Which I suggest you never do...as a matter of fact, just completely stay away from women. They're life sucking soul-less demons)

i hear you on that, i am going to stay away from the damn women for along time now. never knew how much they were holding me back from tricking out my 240. ummmm............ the motor, transmission, harness, and ecu, and rear suspension from an R33 GTS-T set me back $2500. the labor to yank out the ka, install this bad boy with custom mounts, hook up the new diff, mount my front mount and upgrade to a t3/t4 is gonna be around $1200. i've already got $1500 saved up and should have a total of $3000 saved within the next two weeks. i'll keep everyone posted.

That's really cheap for the motor, and good price for labor too. Check out the RB forum, TONS of info in there.

Whew.... thought someone was getting married. There's been a lot of relationship related posts on here lately, so I just assumed.I'd be more excited about the RB install anyway. Congrats. Post some details as things progress.

And yes, it's a T3.

thanks for the feedback guys. i am seeing the costs skyrocket already. i spent pretty much the whole afternoon and evening with mike at his house today helping him do some misc. stuff. we talked about quality and custom parts maybe that he should fab and this is what we have come up with so far. the motor set should still be around $2500-$2700. the labor and cutom parts not including the T3/T4 and wastegate i already have and the huge front mount i bought are going to be around $2000. so we are looking around $4500-$4700 total installed and boosting to about 15psi. think i'll get 400 hp out of that combo? well see. but we are talking about ka yanked out, engine bay cleaned and painted satin black, rb shined and looking new, installed, custom harness ran lower in the engine bay and almost hidden, custom greddy style intake to utilize normally ran intercooler pipng, custom adapter for the t3/t4 and external wastegate, and full 3" downpipe and exhaust, and the factory skyline R33 LSD. well, see soon though, i should have the money for the motor in about 1 month. would have it sooner but i got danm rent on my place soon though. you guys better watch out though, mike just started a company, core products, and i am gonna be his test mule for S14 parts from suspension to roll cages, custom gauge plates for gauges, and of course performance parts for any kind of car.

Good luck with it. A friend has an Rb25 in his s13 hatch and its pretty nasty. Its a compeltely stock setup except for FMIC and exhaust. I believe he has a turbo timer too....

He dynoed at 209 rwhp. He is running waaayyyy rich and can't get it not too. One of the pulls he boost spiked at got like 229 rwhp, nothing crazy. Its one of the most amazing sounding car I have ever heard though.

getting ready to yank out the KA and prep the engine bay and take out the crappy open diff. we are gonna run the wiring really low in the bay and make everything up top really flashy. custom heat shield for the upgraded turbo so we dont have to wrap anything, trust me you guys are gonna FREAK! this is gonna be the ultimate sleeper until i get the damn thing painted.
