So i'm getting ready to swap my sr in and was wondering if i need to do any "break in" stuff? i figure since the motor has been sitting awhile do i need to worry about the motor being seized?

Replace as many hoses as you can, maybe water pump and thermostat.

Okay cool. the guy i bought it from got into an accident but the motor wasn't damaged in any way. its been about a 6-8 months since it has turned over. its my first turbo car. i think i replaced the alternator, intercooler w/ pipes, and radiator. he had spec b e.b.c. but it look incomplete just the hoses, so i got a hallman instead. was that a bad idea? anyways i'll post pics of the finished product. hopefully it cranks right up!!

oh i forgot i'm switching bellhousings i think the sr trans got messed up from me towing it back home. the yolk or whatever bolts to the back of the trans broke off while in transport!! it has a 6 puck clutch i don't know the brand name of it and the last gonwer can't remember the brand either. he just remember it being japanese, go figure . that calum i'm keeping. my whole beef with it was that i couldn't tune it since it has been modded with the daughter board. i wasn't sure if mods like that were permanant.
