When taking off the back seats u need to pull up the seat first. You want to pull the seats from the side while standing outside the car, do this for both sides and the seat should be off. When you get the seat off you need a wrench to loosen the lug nut to the middle seat beat cause it goes through the seats making it impossible to get off. Once you get the seat off just take off the rest of the lug nuts that u see and then you should be able to remove the top part of the seat as wellchristian1 wrote:k3vin15753 wrote:I really want to take off the car seats and do a full car clean want every little bit of dust out but those screws are super tight to get out with any Philips head screw drivers i have lol anyone know any tools i could get to help me loosen these suckers up?
let me know when and how you remove the rear seat to do it , I need some space in the back
Yup its hard to lift the seats up if u are directly facing the seats they come off ten times easier if u just give it a good yank from the side while standing outside of the car. Thats how i put my car seat covers oniluvmyVersa08 wrote:So the rear seats actually can lift up ?
I want to tighten up my seat covers and could not figure out how to get the rear seats off?
So I just lift up each side and they should lift up (at least so I can tighten the covers)????
There should be two small clicks one on each side of the seats to let you know they are back in place.iluvmyVersa08 wrote:Ok Cool ... Thanks for the info! When the weather warms up and I give her a spring cleaning I will try to lift up the seats to fix the rear seat covers. Do the seats click down or anything? Will I know they are back in place?
Thanks for the help! It's greatly appreciated!
