Taking out Front Speakers in S14

I dont know if i need to force the grills out of remove the doorpanel? can someone help me.. im looking to change the speakers in the front of a Nissan 240sx

Door panel.

Take out handle screwTake out switch panel screwRemove switch panel and disconnect harnessremove 3 lower door panel screwsPlace hand over top most push clip and pull on lower portion of panel, this pops the clip out..Pull harder on panel to pop out the handle trim peice, and remove trim.Take panel off and have at it.

reason #10001 to buy an FSM. That's what I did, and that's how I saved $60 installing speakers, $50 on a head unit, and much more on the gauges and rear deck lid. Plus I can fix other stuff that comes up and look up things I'm curious about. Not bad for an $80 investment! ;)

yea i have a FSM and it gave vauge directions on how to remove door panel...

I had no problems removing the door panel from the FSM directions. I thought they were pretty clear, and identical to what 96_S14_SE said
