taking out factory cd player???

ok i started from the bottom.I had the factory platte pulled out about an inch and i didnt like the way the top of the plastic was sticking in there. could somone tell me the best way to get it off?? thankyou.

the way i have done it is to run a flat head screwdriver or something else flat and sturdy around the edge very slowly. just make sure you dont see the plastic start to turn white (like its going to crack). it should otherwise pop right off.

did you get the 2 srews out of the top corners? in the little vent area at the endes there are litle angled caps, pop them out with a small screwdriver or pick and get the screws under them, then the panel should lift off

hahahaha lol thanks man if if i woulda jus followed the edges with a screw driver i woulda have broken it for sure.thanks alot
