dude that is retarted to remove your power steering to prove a point to anyone. If he has a problem with you having enough sense to keep the power steering that you paid or with your trim model 240SX then thats him and tell him to get over it. if not let him talk trash. but i wouldnt remove the steering if i were you cause i heard it was as hard as hell to drive. my opinion

Tell your friend to learn to drive, and stop making excuses.

i mean i thought i can just leave all the stuff there and just get the belt that will just fit the crack pulley to the water pump. i drove my car around my house and i can drive that thing around just fine but i need the belt that will just fit the crack pulley and the water pump thats all

Anyways, I don't think its safe racing on the "canyon". I'm guessing its on the streets.

Next he'll say you only beat him because you aren't riding a tricycle.

If you really want to prove that it is you and not the car the only way is to switch cars

its behind my school. its just a abandon dead end hill its only like 45second run. most ppl just go up there to either race or go up there take some pictures.

you cant get a belt to fit around the water pump pulley because: 1 - it will be too small and put too much pressure on the water pump bearings until they fail, 2 - it will be large and will continually jump off the pulley under load.

the only way to elimate the power steering is to remove the pump, lines, and all and vent the rack. however, in doing this, you will destroy the rack and it will never work right again. you will have to find the stock KA-E power steering idler pulley and use it to bypass the DOHC KA pump.

wow. thats a little jumbled. im tired and its late. if its hard to understand, ill try retyping tomorrow.
