Taking off the emblem / debadging

I just recently bought a 2008 nissan rogue SL AWD and was thinking about blacking it out. So i just seeing if anyone had done this already and can give me advice on how to take off the front and back emblems that says nissan so i can spray paint it.

The Front Nissan emblem is easy to take off. Just couple of plastic clips are holding it.

Look at Page EXT-19 for the front emblem removing

The rear one is attached by a double sided foam tape. If you remove it, you need to replace the tape to install it back.

An advice: You can use a special spray paint called "plastidip". The good thing about this spray is after it dries, you can peel it of if you dont like. Here is another forum member with Plastidip applications:

why dont you just spray plasti-dip on them, and peal the excess off?
if you remove the letters & symbols you will need to apply new 3m tape and hope it stays.
