Hello everyone, I am new to the site and this is my first Z. I recently purchased a 2005 Roadster and don't have any experience with convertibles as this is my first. My question to anyone that knows, is it safe to take this particular car thru an automatic car wash. I am talking about the kind that uses the big soft brushes and things that actually touch your car, not just a high pressure water wash. My concern is with the brushes and things that touch the top, could it damage the top and the locking mechanism causing it to either damage or knock out of alignment any of the top's parts? Sorry, this might be a silly question, but again, I don't have any experience with a convertible and don't want to risk damaging the car if it is not recommended. Any and all assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for any help!

Don't do it.
You bought the Z.
you love the Z.
Wash it by hand, or have someone else do it.

The owners manual tells you not to spray your car with high pressure.
And not to use soap on your top
.I rinse mine with the set like gentle rain.
