So i previously owned a VW Jetta and i took apart headlights, and painted inside black. (Euro look)

Now that i have my qx4, i tried doing the same. Nothing will work. I soaked in burning hot water, used a heat gun, used spatchulas and flat heads... they WILL NOT come apart.

Has anyone ever gotten theirs apart.. and HOW.

I took the fog lights apart. just popped them in the oven at 350 for a few minutes and pried them apart. I'm assuming its the same because it looks like the same sealant.

Or, hopefully one does. Either way it's a win-win situation.

I agree.

I'm surprised the heat gun didn't work though. I'm pretty sure that's how NickD85 here got his apart. Everyone else here (to my knowledge) have used the oven method.
