I noticed around the end of fall my temp gauge would not go above the lowest notch. This was not an issue then as I was not using the heat. Being winter now its an issue. My QX takes at least 30 miles before it blows good heat. I have flushed the radiator, no hhelp. Any suggestions??

Sounds like the thermostat is stuck open -- this will also normally cause lower MPG. Get an OE thermostat -- many of the aftermarket ones are junk and fail .... this may be the problem.

Agree, stuck open thermostat.

You replace both the termostat and part of the housing. It all comes together from Nissan.

It would be a good idea to change out the coolant at the same time.
