Corona, Ca…Takeda USA, is pleased to announce the release of their new Takeda Link conversion intake for the 2004-08 Nissan Maxima V6-3.5L part number TL-3003P.

The Takeda Link conversion air intake is a true “fresh air intake” bringing air flow from the front of the vehicle increasing air volume and improving air velocity for increased horsepower, torque and improved throttle response. TL-3003P utilizes specially designed 2-piece polished aluminum intake tubes to guide the air into the motor and provide an aggressive style. In cold or rainy conditions the TL-3003P converts to a “Retain” short ram intake. You get two intakes in one!

Takeda air intakes use the brand new Pro Dry S filter from aFe, which uses a progressive synthetic media, requiring no oil to recharge for maximum convenience and filtration. The Pro Dry S filter is 99.2% efficient so it prevents all of the dirt and debris from entering the motor. All Takeda air intake systems have a lifetime warranty and come complete with polished aluminum tube(s), Pro Dry S performance air filter, Urethane couplers, clamps and all hardware necessary for a simple installation.

In recent testing, part number TL-3003P produced an astonishing 6hp and 6ft. lbs. of torque while outflowing the factory intake by 67%.

Part Number TL-3003P has and retails for around $269.00 and is available in stores now.

I was expecting a "real" cold air intake, like many of us 4th gen members have. One that goes through the inner fender and sets at the opening in the bumper. This just looks like a WAI to me :gotme:

This intake is a cold air intake. Check the link again. There was a couple of images missing from the site. This intake is a cold air that can be converted to a short ram if need be. Thanks for the feedback.

The instruction sheets that are located on the web page have some images of the filter and how they mount with location. I don't know if that is what you were looking for but you might want to check it out. It is located just below the product images on the left side of the page. Thanks again, Jason
