I didn't know there were so many G50 owners in Norcal/SAc. Keep me posted on a meet too!

Good mystery work hah, actually got it back in January. I used to have a lockdown on every junkyard Q45 in sacramento.. unfortunately no 94s. I need 94-96 parts. There is a 94 in Antelope at James Auto yard but its not the self service one.

Those JDM lights look great... thought you had Yellow fog lights too.

Can't understand the broken suspension look nor its comprmised performance.

Of course, it would be nice if these guys could read their trunks.
I'm very much a "performance over looks" guy. If it doesn't somehow make the car accelerate/decelerate faster, or handle better or get better gas mileage, than it's not for me.

BUT...for some reason, I overlook that on the Q45. Maybe it's because the Q isn't an all out performance vehicle. So you drop the car so it's scraping the ground and add on some really heavy rims. The car looks subjectively cooler but you've definitively decreased it's performance...and maybe that doesn't matter so much in your daily driven street vehicle.

Extracting every last ounce of handling or power isn't really a priority for me, and I think a lot of people are that way. As long as driving my car is fun and enjoyable, I'm happy with it. If making your car look a certain way makes happy, go for it.

It's not like these guys are taking an Elise and slamming it on 19's with stretched rubber band tires. That would be a travesty.

I agree with DoinkMobb car appeal, performance, and some fuel economy daily driver is something to look for when even trying to think about modifying a car. Thats why i have my 1994 Infiniti Q45 for car appeal, my 1987 Buick Grand National for performance and my turbo charged 1991 Honda Civic for a daily driver (34 mpg). And by the way my Q45 is no sloth, performance wise i have a Jim Wolf ECU,Jim Wolf TCU, Stillen POP charger, Electric fans,Sun Auto Ground wire kit, JIC exhaust and under construction are custom headers. The Skyline GT-R 4.11 gear clutch type LSD rear end puts it down to the ground. Not to mention the upgraded suspension ,Its faster than my boosted civic which runs an average of 14.1-14.3 second 1/4 mile time slips. I will tune my car with S15 SR20DET 440cc injectors and APEXI NEO piggy back fuel controller, maybe break the 13 second mark.

Unfortunately the oem 370cc injectors never exceed 55% duty cycle under even the most demanding conditions [4,000 rpm torque peak] so larger injector are a pure waste NA.

Only if you exceed 420 crank HP do you need larger injectors.

In earlier posts i read that they were alredy at 87% duty cycle and may be one of the reasons the injectors fail so frequently. It makes more sense to me that they are 55% duty cycle, Thanks for the info!

Not if you have relocated the filter outside the engine bay, mine is sitting behind the left fog light.

I bet it sounds better though (to the owner at least).

The 18" G35 rims I put on my Q are straight line performance decreasers, but I enjoy them all the same. Shod with performance tires, at least they've increased handling vastly - and they look cool.

Maxnix, are you German by the way? You seem very Teutonic in your approach to the Q45. All business, all performance, no deviating outside the most logical and efficient means of improvement...that's not a bad thing per se, just wondering.
