I just wanted to know if anyone here has installed these before on a motor already IN the car?

I've got my lines (awesome quaility, very pretty).. but it doesnt look like there will be any way to hookup the water feed line without pulling the IM.

If i have to pull the IM what should i be looking to clean/replace. what should i be careful of?

I am guessing you are referring to the water line that comes from the back of the block.

The set of lines I worked on just connected to a rubber line in the rear of the motor on the driver's side. Beats me if that helps but it works okay.

My problem is the Taka lines are rubber, and so is the accessable part of the line at the back of the head. I am assuming the taka line is MENT to attach to the actual source, which is a small pipe that Y's off of the heater pipe..

Thats a tough one. Perhaps removing the wires leading to the coilpacks temporarily would give you more access. I find removing as much crap out of the way as possible helps tremendously when space is a factor.

Thanks Matt,

I actualy did that, but the heater hose is still in the way.

I think I am just going to pull the IM. It will give me a chance to replace my fuel lines, gaskets, and just clean the thing up.

You might know, what US parts should i use for the collector, TB and IACV gaskets?

I just got a gasket kit from heavythrottle when I did my motorswap. Maybe part numbers are in the sticky in this forum.

The throttle body gasket can be had from the KAE. The IACV, you can call around, like Dantech of Midway, or you can order them from places like Superior or Courtesy.
