Anyone know what can be causing this? And does this mean i don't need to buy a new tail light?
Poor or loose connections, or poor ground? LED's or bulbs are usually not intermittant?
You probably don't need a new tail light. You probably will need the electrical schemetic diagram as well as all the locations of all plugs, connectors, wire colors, and any possible relays feeding the 12v coming from the light switch to the LED's as well as the ground locations. You will also need a digital voltmeter. (There could also be 12v at the lights and the light switch sends a ground)? If that were the case you could be missing the 12v on some of the LED's that don't light?Follow the FSM test procedure. It could be something simple that you might find or you may end up having to take it to the dealer. They'll have one of their top technicians that earn over $100k/yr find your problem.
Have your credit card ready $$$
