taillight help

im so confused i have an 06 and i bought these taillights for my zhttp://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVWthey do not plug into the factory harness. they look like they would plug in except there is a greenish peice in the factory plug if that peice wasnt there it looks like it might pull in, am i missing something? is the plug on an 03 to 05 different from an 06 maybe? i would love any help you guys can give

I cannot access the link you have left, says its not responding. My guess is you bought cheap-o- tail lights being on e-bay, or unknowingly bought knock offs. The problems a lot of people have with these items are, they won't fit properly, or the lenses are not sealed correctly and allow condensation to build up, fogging the lens. Contact the seller for more info, maybe he will give you your money back.... Most sellers stand behind their sales, so i would contact that person, maybe ask them for some installation tips and if it doesn't work out, then return them. I hope you didn't leave feedback yet.......

rmezz13 is right maby also post a pic what ur talkin bout if it looks the same though with out the color difrence try it plug it in and hold it and have a friend turn ur car on and test the brakes and blinkers and see if they work
