I don't believe that Infiniti offers anything that you can add on to the EX to be able to open the rear gate from the driver/passenger area. I think that there is an emergency release on the inside portion of the gate though.

If you want some type of driver accessible switch to open the rear gate, you'd have to have some custom wiring done to your car. Someone experienced with working on automotive electrical systems shouldn't have too much trouble coming up with a solution for you (provided they have a copy of the electrical schematics in factory service manual).
