Tailgate Molding Above License Plate

Hi Everyone,

Recently the plastic molding above the license plate that houses the trunk release button has started coming detached from the tailgate. Every time I open my trunk it gets worse and worse since the upward pressure of lifting the trunk puts strain on the broken clip (I'm assuming it's a broken clip).

Any idea how to fix this? Lots of superglue? I really don't know . Any insight would be wonderful

Could try to find the part on parts.nissanusa.com

If you're just trying to glue it back on I'd use J-B Weld or some other epoxy. If you don't want s*** to move anymore that'll do it.
