does anyone know how to change the light bulb in the tail light of an 02 altima? there doesn't seem to be any bolts or anything in the trunk. i might not be looking hard enough but wtf! please help... i don't want a ticket for something as stupid as that.

so... i found the nuts that hold it on but how the heck do you get to the lights!? i tried pulling/prying the cover off from both sides and it seems like it's sealed to the frame. do i just need to take it somewhere for a simple light or can i just do this myself!? why does nissan have to make everything so difficult!?

Make sure you unscrewed both nuts in the Rear Combination Light assembly. See your owners manual (section 8-35) for the diagram and nut location. I would suggest tapping the nuts slightly with the back of a screw driver or something flat. You dont want to hurt the threads on the bolts by pounding on them, but tap them from the trunk to see if it loosens the Rear Combination Light assembly.
