I finally got around to blacking my tail lights out again this past weekend. I did it with VHT Night Shades and Dupli-Color Clear Coat this time, much better results but still working some of that dullness out but overall i'm pleased with the outcome

You need to wet sand to get a glossy finish (2000 or higher grit sandpaper).

More like the Pilot Chrome Amber bulbs. Looks as though nothing is there when it's off, amber when it's lit.

I looks great but it looks like you got an ugly spot on your rear windshield in the shape of a UGA sticker. Might want to wash that off.

I can get them through my Advance Auto Parts, but not sure if they can where you are. You are more than welcome to have them contact me to see what we can do for you. They run around $5 each, so kind of pricey, but well worth it IMO.

You wouldn't happen to have the part number handy would you? I'm definitely planning on getting them, I'll have to see if the Advance here can get them or either where I work(CarQuest). The people at the Advance here seem to get confused when I ask for anything out of the ordinary

I need a set of those for my Q but haven't been able to find them in any brick and mortar stores so I gave up on them.

Worst case scenario, I get them from my work (Advance) and ship them to you. Here's the part number:

I still buy 80% of my parts from Advance. lol. I worked there for 3 years so I trust their products more than anyone else out there. CarQuest doesn't carry squat if you want anything aside from OEM anyways.

Thanks for the Part#, I got to looking at the bulbs today though and realized that the amber ones you see in the pictures aren't 7440s, for some reason they have an amber 1156 or 1157 style bulb in them but in our system they show 7440's and the same in Advances system so i'm confused... I can't tell for sure what the bulbs in there are either because they don't have any numbers on them

Easy fix bro. Single filament, one contact on bottom, nubs on side at same level = 1156. Dual filament, two contacts on bottom, nubs on side offset = 1157. Just replace the "7440" w/ corresponding bulb number and you have the correct part number.

They are universal, but they have mounts for my Q on them. Doubt they would work. I could sell them to you and you could see if they would work. Non-refundable.
