I have a 1993 Q45 and my tail lights and my display lights dont work. I have checked the fuse under the dash and under the hood. Guy at autozone thinks it could be the switch even though the headlights work. Maybe there is a relay or another fuse somewhere. Anyone got an idea??????????

Well, they're definitely on the same circuit... are you sure you checked all of the fuses? Usually it's a bulb in the back with melted lead tips causing a short...

Agreed. Have you changed any of the rear bulbs lately? Also, fuses can be decieving since you can't always visually spot a break in the fuse wire. Go back and check the continuity of the fuse with an ohmmeter or switch in a known good fuse of the same amperage. Let us know what you find. Good luck chasing the gremlins.

I think you got it backwards... the relay should click as a part of normal operation.

When my tail lights stopped working, the problem turned out to be in the fuse box (not the fuse) under the dash. The stereo installer at my mechanis sho found the problem and spent 15-20 minutes to fix it.
