Tail light wiring harness

i bought the black and clear euro tail lights for my qx4 only to find out that the wiring harness is different the only socket that fits is the brake light. i can sure i can make the turn light socket fit by reshaping it but the reverse light is so much smaller any help would be great guys....

the taillights you got...are they for a '99? i dunno if the taillight changed at all from 99 to 99.5..

yep for 99 i bought the ones for the pathfinder i gonna modify so the socket fits but my issue now is getting a signal bulb to fit in the space cause the regular size doesn't fit

ok guys after playing around for half hour i realise i can't tailor the qx4 sockets to fit the tail light...i emailed the guys i got it from..maybe they can get a socket size or somthing if only i know what size socket for the turning lights i can get two perhaps and tailor them to work on the existing harness...pathy guys i gonna need ur help on this one...seems like i gonna need a wire harness can't find one anywhere

call your local infiniti dealer and ask them if the taillight is the same from a 99 to a 99.5. if its not, i would bite the bullet and try to send back the ones you have in exchange for the right ones...i.e. a set for a 2000. probably gonna be your best bet as opposed to trying to modify the current ones, plus if it doesnt work then youre stuck with them.

quick update i went down to nissan a got the tailight harness for 20 a side and just pop the lights in fit perfectly

I noticed the other day that the reverse lights on a the newer QX4s are not in the tail lights but rather on each side of the tag.

OK NICO ROCKS. you guys are awesome. This is my first post, but i have been on the forums many times....I finally need your help and if you guys can help me out...I owe you ALOT. I ordered the same tailights as megabyte on eBay, except mine do have red and chrome accents, but their the EXACT same design. The seller DID include a harness, EXACTLY like megabytes (his pics were identical to mine actually!) and they convert the top turn signal socket to the smaller light. BUT they are defective and dont work!! the same goes for the reverse light bulb socket....the bulb just falls out! Sooooo i was looking all over google for the actual socket so i could just cut the wires, and resolder.....but thats a pain...what if it doesnt work, then i ruin my original harness!! So are u guys saying I can buy these socket converters in store at the dealer? what did u do megabyte? do urs work? tips? a pic? Id SO appreciate if u guys helped me out, the seller is being a jerk (Motor-Mayhem) and he wants me to SHIP the WHOLE SET back to california at MY expense, to replace it....and my guess is the next set wud have the same prob!!

anyways, plz let me know! sorry for the long exhausting post, but i am just so excited with this forum!

whats up fellas i am desperately looking for the same style tail lights but cant find them anywhere. i was in an accident and now i cant find the same lights. im not really interested in the chrome euro compared to the black euro i had.

i think if you guys had bought the 2001 one tail lights you wouldnt have had this problem. im not sure but just a thought.

drivers side (its probably the same on both sides but im not sure) if anybody needs it, its free, only you pay shipping

hey where in brampton do you live qxxx4 maybe it would be easier to see it. but im going to swing by the auto shop where my truck is and give the mechanic my stock tails to put on so ill take my euros off and maybe we can figure something out.what do you think
