No, that's where Paris Hilton's heart was forged. Tint comes from purgatory along with the scripts for the movie series Bring it on and Final destination.

I think most people do it themselves with tinting film? There's also a spray you can buy.

Daytime visibility is a serious issue if you tint them too much. I'd suggest LED tail lights too.

Thats funny

The spray is nice. Only put one layer though, itll get so dark that itll be hard to tell if you are hitting the brakes even at night if you put too much in

First of all :welcome: newbie. Anyways here's a link to come pre cut overlays from an Altima coupe moderator. longbeachcoupe-headlight-and-taillight- ... 67645.html. Also check out blue batmobile (search) and they have some stuff as well if I'm not mistaken. Personally I would vinyl because it can be reversed unlike VHT nightshades spray.

Check out the Altima coupe section as well. It's still lively. I can't say the same about the 4dr though.

From experience on both accounts, and as a fellow AC driver I can say, DO NOT use spray tint as it will come out much too dark and be a SERIOUS safety issue, without proper prep your finish will be matte/glossy/slinky/whatever you didnt want, and removing it is pretty tough (it can be done, but if not done properly it will cause permanent damage to your housings).

Use the film overlays sold by LBC linked above or BlueBatMobile as mentioned above. This fils is not normal window tint. It is a cast product made by Oracal which is big in the signange industry to make back lit stained glass effect displays. You can buy this on your own if you can find a distributor, but minimum order is 10 yards and it wont be CAD cut to the specific shape of your tail lights. Dark grey is Oracal 8300 series color code 173, light grey is Oracal 8300 series color code 172.

My Q looked great with tinted tail lights. They didn't interfere with visibility enough to be a problem (you know me...I wouldn't have tolerated them if they got in the way of function). They were a thick film.

Aside from the lettering in the center section, if no one told you they weren't stock you'd probably never know.

First couple years I had the car I had no problems. Then one year I mysteriously failed safety for them...despite having passed the prior two years. Got a ticket for them that same year, too. Irritating, since I see black pickups driving around with nearly-opaque spray-tinted tail lights all the time.
