tail light tinting

i called 5 different tinting shops and they all said they couldnt tint my tail lights i know they sell overlays but i figured id rather have an expert so i dont f it up so if the overlays work why cant a shop tint the til lights as well?

I had the same problem when I went to get mine tinted...the shop only had 1 guy who could actually do it, the other guys didn't wanna take the chance. They said it has to do with the shape of the light and its supposedly hard to do right. Just gotta find someone with some balls and skill I guess

yeah the one shop i went to said the have to tint it from the inside but i didnt see how that was possible did the shop you went to tint it from the outside of the light

i tryed to do the tinting too turned out pretty good but after a while started getting air bubbles so i just ended up getting it painted looks abt 10x better u should consider it!

spray tint definitely looks cleaner, but i think a lot of people don't like the idea that it's pretty much permenant.

vinyls can look as good if you get a guy who really knows what they're doing,but after 2 attempts at it myself, I realized I can't doit without creases in the vinyl. whach.

how many coats or layers of paint are on those taillights thats exactly how im gonna get mine done but i need to give the painter an idea

itz 3 coats of paint then i waited like 4 days then added on a coat of clear....jus too advise u tho after abt 2 weeks after u get it done and itz fully dryed jus like wax ur tail light real carefully cuz the paint attracts dust like crazy if u don't.
