Tail light stays on

I have a 79 280zx and the tail lights will not turn off. Does anyone have any sugestiongs on what the problem could be?

Are you sure it's the tail lights and not the brake lights? If it's the brake lights, it might be the same problem the Z31s suffer from.http://z31.com/repairs/brakepedal/

some mustangs have a problem with the swithc going bad and just stayinhg on, could be a bad switch, easy part to replace
