hey guys i have a couple quick questions. i was wondering how to remove the tailights from the i30. i took the nuts off and tried to take it off but it was like it was sealed on, i didn't want to try to hard and risk breaking something. does anyone know how to get them out? i plan on swapping tailights with my moms 98 because i like the clear better then the orange. also i was wondering if it was possible to clean the inside of the lens so it isn't cloudy, i tried plastic polish on the outside but it didn't work. if not im gonna swap out mine for hers since she doesn't care and it really bothers me that they are cloudy. as always thanks for any help.

Yeah, there is a black sealant holding in the tail lights (kinda like the stuff they use to seal windshields). Once the nuts are removed, just push from the back of the light (in the trunk), and they should come out just fine.

does it need to be resealed or will the nuts hold it in alright?

There should be enough sealant left on the light assembly and around the opening, that you shouldn't have to worry. Once you tighten the nuts, it should seal pretty well.
