Ok so i've had this hole in the back of my tail light for the longest & finally im gettin a replacement taillight, THANKS to Dflane39. The taillight will be on its way soon but im debating if i should tint the taillights or just leave them the way they are. Reason being for leaving them the way they are would be for flow of my scheme. I have the nismo sticker on the bottom left corner of my front bumper & i will be powder coating my calipers red. I figured let me get some help from the nico famszzz!!!

TO TINT OR NOT TO TINT??? THAT IS THE QUETSION!!!!!

I think with your scheme the red would look good, but tint wouldnt look bad either.

That hole is just crazy! Lovin the pics of the whip, lookin VERY sweet....really like your NISMO decal on the lip....I say leave them red, rounds out the color scheme all-around, or perhaps a light tint!

*Note* And I will double check the light for marks, scratches etc, and try to get it out Monday, even before the other comes back.....I'm headed out of the country a week from today. so if there's an issue, we can resolve it before I leave....:)

Speaking of tails:

Has anybody gotten these aftermarkets? I think the smoked look would work well with the darker colored ACs.

everyone always tells me to smoke my tails but to me it has never looked good. first people would make them super black and 2 things would happen, the tails wouldnt be bright anymore AND the car became too plain. just all black with no contrast and it hides all the details. so then people start with the light tint and that looks HORRIBLE to me... I mean I'd rather have NO TAIL LIGHTS then have them lightly tinted. it gives it a ugly a** burgundy color

I used to be all for tinting taillights...but..now..not so much. I think I like the contrast of the red better.

Dont tint. I had to option to have mine painted by the body shop for free and i chose not to. It makes the car look too plain and it just causes more problems. Its stupid to have them and risk getting pulled over for it. The tails look really good in red as it is and it keeps that oem look. i think the painted tails is starting to get a bit played out.

i say light tint, i think i'm one of the few who have that, i don't like it too dark otherwise it's not enough contrast, but i also think that the stock tails are too bright red. i think they look nice and not an "ugly burgandy"

I'm taking the plunge and ordering. Will install next week. If I don't like, I'll put the stocks back in.
