Any type of silicon sealant will work fine. Find it at the auto store. They also make a clear silicon for use in bathrooms that you might find cheaper(ie Lowes, Home Depot, etc). General RTV will work too, however it might be harder to clean up(no clear colors if I'm not mistaken)

basically u can purchase a roll of windshield tape... come in 3/8" or 5/16" from NAPA or some similar store... made by 3M

using a heat gun to melt the old one off/scrape w/ razor, wearing rubber gloves cause that shizz is nasty... lay the new tape on the perimeter, heat it up w/ heatgun/hair dryer then reassemble...

^ what he said. I think the technical term is "butyl rubber gaskets." All I know is that is what I asked for at NAPA and they had it, I got a 10' roll and it was more than enough. I pulled it off using lighter fluid when it was stubborn, I didn't read directions and just put the new roll on without heating, but it seemed to work fine anyway. Now I have to do it again on my new car .
