I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW PEOPLES PERSONAL OPINIONS ON THIS TYPE OF TAIL LIGHT DESIGN. MY PLAN WILL ESSENTIALLY LOOK LIKE A 3RD GEN FD WHEN COMPLETED.

I PLAN ON:1.) INSTALLING ISOLATING CYLINDERS FOR CONCENTRATED CIRCLES2.) INSTALLING 4 HIGH-INTENSITY RED LEDS (2 FOR DIM RUNNING LIGHTS, 4 FOR BRIGHT BRAKE LIGHTS)3.) BLANKING OUT THE LOWER TURN SIGNAL AND MAKING THE OUTER MOST RED LIGHTS BLINK4.) REPLACING THE REVERSE LIGHTS WITH HIGH-INTENSITY LEDS5.) LEAVING THE THIRD BRAKE LIGHT STOCK6.) FOGGING THE ENTIRE LIGHT BAR A SMOKE BLACK

WELL I'M ALSO OPEN TO SUGGESTIONS, I WANT TO BE SOMEWHAT DIFFERENT SO LIGHT SWAPS ARE OUT OF THE QUESTION. ANY INFO/HELP/SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APRECIATED.

That sounds pretty good, how are you gonna black the turn signal out?

The whole panel can be stripped of the colored film then refilmed with smokey film to give that fd look.

Heres a mental picture:stock light panelall blackreverse lights are bright ovalsrunning lights are the outer most red circlesbrake lights are four circles two on either side brightly lit.

There is also a product from VHT called NightShade(spelling?). Its a blackout spray that allows the original colors through. I have never used it though, just seen the ad in Summit Racing's catalog.Sounds like you have a good idea going, I'd like to see the results.

thats the style, now imagine the 240sx lights like that. we really need a night pict to show the defined circles though.
