Does anyone know how to change the tail light bulbs. I removed the two access plates behind the tail lights but I see no way to remove the bulb or the assembly. My backup light is burned out.

Behind those plates should be 2 nuts securing the lamp housing to the car. Remove those to remove the housing from the car. There should be a connector on the back of the housing. Remove that connector. Once you have that out, you should be able to turn the bulb counterclockwise to unlock it.

I removed the two nuts but the tail light assy. is not coming loose. I looks to me that it should slide to the rear, but there must be another nut to remove. I have the hatch back.

There is also a locating pin, so be sure to pull it towards the rear of the car only to avoid breaking the two aligning points. I took a piece of wood and pushed from the inside against one of the nut studs while pulling. It will be a little stiff the first time.
