Finally got a chance to leave a little stalker card on a gold S14 in my area today. Also, was able to track down a yellow (very good paint job btw) pignosed S13 last week and give him a card as well.

p.s. That 'vert is TOO damn cool!

Wish you were coming to KY meet - I'd like to see it in person. I really, really, really think I wanna buy a droptop 240. Soon.

I'm gonna try to be there. I wanna do a dyno pull and see exactly what I'm putting to the ground. And do you think I'd actually miss a chance to hang out with a bunch of nissan freaks? :)

I like the white one (white looks best cause of the contrast) that first one, he's asking waaaaay too much. KBB is only $5,335 for your Zip. To put it in perspective, I payed 6900 for mine with an SR swap, including 5 speed conversion, FMIC, exhaust, intake, new DV and custom built piping.

I think the third one has a nice price, but it may be a bit low. Something's wrong with it IMO.

i really wouldnt pay more than $5K for a stock vert if your just going to rip out its guts and stick in a V8. Every time i see a vert for sale there is always "rare" in the description, these people need to stop fooling themselfs :pface.

Search around and find a burgundy (don't like the red) or grey one with leather. I think you know you can't have a dark car in AZ :nono.

i don't think leather was an option for the verts. leather was in the LE's which was the HB only...I think,

If I didnt' have my s14, a vert would be what I would have probably. I've done one 5spd swap, and it *finally* ended up sucessful, so why not get a 'vert and have another one done? :) Your car is amazing basically, I LOVE IT!!!!!!!

Maybe it's an aftermarket kit, but I was pretty sure I had seen it before and here's one on ebay with leather.

Looks a little rough...

I like the white too.

I'd REALLY like to find one in that silver-blue color.

I need to read up on the 240's, as I know very little about the available engines. I take it these are all n/a KA24's?

With the top down I love how they look, Ive got a video of a guy playing around drifting in a One-via ant it looks nice, so does that one in that picture, but I really dont like them with the tops up.

Convertibles are owned for 2 reasons how the (1)look & (2)feel with the top down :D.

I agree though most every convertible leaves ALOT to be desired with the top up. Even the new 350Z roadster doesn't look too good with the top up, but why would you ever have the top up?

Mmmmmm.

That's cruel, Keith.

I'm pretty sure that car would take me from "inexpensive, fun, unique beater" to "damn, I spent more on this project than I did on my house..."

They are all na ka24's unless otherwise specified.

Greg, I could definately see you pimpin a 240 'vert. You can find them relatively cheap in good shape (at least you should be able to, dunno about your area though) and then I'm sure you would want to get more power. To do this, you could obviously turbo that KA and have a torque moster, or do the sr swap like everyone else, or go rb swap like everyone is starting to do, or go ca18 which hasn't quite been discovered as much yet. But first, buy one :)

I see.

Turbo KA, huh? Time for me to start reading.

I think White Bunny (local hardcore 240 guy) runs a turbo KA.

Sorry :(

I know the feeling, I start thinking .... I can come up with $2,000 to $3,000 for a "solid" winter beater, then I think ... I could get a decent S13 coupe for that ... maybe a convert to enjoy during the summer, but would want to do the front end conversion ... and then 5 spd ... and then more power ... just turbo the KA ... nah a CA18 ... nah a RB20 ... I mean RB25 ... hell at this point might as well go RB26DETT. Okay, now I went from a $2,500 winter beater (FWD) to a drop-top RWD power cruiser that costs as much as my house. Damn that 240, why does it have to be so UPgradeable UGH!!!

go rotory :)

I wanna get my car repainted two-tone after I get the money together for my silvia conversion I'm thinking white/gunmetal grey.

The only way to find a cheap 240 'vert is if it's been wrecked or the motor's been blown. The KBB value is too high on them since they were limited to 3000 units
