Tackling blown head gasket in B210

Hi all,
Pretty sure it's an A13 ('74) motor (its not in a Nissan, it's in a Morris Minor), and I have a manual for specs on the way, but have started disassembly for a blown head gasket.

Is the intake manifold only held on by the 4 upper visible bolts? Not budging with whacks with a rubber mallet and the motor appears untouched.

What's the proper way to coax this off?

I think exhaust will be easy with everything exposed.

Doe anyone on this forum work on older engines? Solved this one on my own.

Have other questions and suggestions and would love to find a community to share info with.

Is there a better forum here for this?

Shame this is a such a dead forum. Great for the tuners and hobbiests for later cars, I guess.
I found great mechanics here when I had my J30. Def changed since then.
Datsun 1200 forum is where I'll need to be.

I'm building some experience figuring out all this on my own, so I'll be fairly qualified to answer any of your questions.
