tachometer ticking ??

installed a redtop in my s13, everything works fine , when i get on the gas and the boost comes on a ticking sound seems to be coming from the mph side of the sr tachometer, the tach works fine all over ecept for the ticking sound, it goes away when i slow up on the gas,it seems to only happen when the boost comes on??

it was my boost controller solinoid, i had it bolted to the fire wall with noe rubber washers, lesson learned...
