More issues...my tachometer and odometer do not illuminate (but function fine)...the numbers and needles are of course impossible to see at night and almost as bad during the day. I see that there are a number of small bulbs for cruise, etc. and they all work fine. Any idea of what I am missing?

Thank you.

Apparently there is a flourescent tube in the instrument cluster... the FSM says to replace the "unified meter control unit" if it's bad. Other than looking cool... and it does look cool... I always thought it was a little odd to have a dark tinted instrument cluster and then light everything up with a really bright light to make it visible, even in the daytime.

Check out page DI-18 and DI-20 in the FSM. If you don't have a copy, you can download it at http://www.phatg20.net
