i have a autometer tachometer and i just cant find the tachometer signal so it will work ive heard like three different things anyone know?

you can get it from the back of the gauge cluster. remove your gauge cluster and look at the back. there will be 3 screws that hold the tach in the gauge cluster. one screw is 12v power, another is ground and the last one is tach signal. get a wire and crimp an eyelet to it that is smaller than the screw head remove the screw and reinstall it through the eyelet. then route the wire to where the tach is and connect it to the aftermarket tach. connect the other necessary wires on the aftermarket tach, then cut the correct loops on the aftermarket tach to work for a 4 cyl and your done. that or just be happy with the factory tach like i am.anyhow good luck!
