I've done a lot of research on this and can't seem to come up with a solid solution. After my RB20 swap, everything runs fine, wiring went fine, but I can't seem to get my tach adjusted right. I tried taking it out of the dash and adjusting the potentiometer (?) on the back of the tach, and after a number of failed attempts, my tach doesn't go below 1000 rpm, and when I drive, it's very slow to respond. When I downshift and punch it, the tach makes it up to about 6000 rpm when my rev limiter hits. I hooked it up to a dyno, the tach reads and responds correctly to the computer, but the gauge itself is still slow. If anyone has any idea what to do to fix it, I would greatly appreciate it.

Youll have to send it off to get it recalibrated. LSauto does a good job and if i remember correctly carl H does it as well. You can adjust it yourself but it will never be 100 percent right. lsauto.com
