Tachometer Question?

Can someone please tell me what wires run the RPM part of the Tach? i have not cracked it open but don't even really know where to start. This is for a SOHC cluster with a SR but i wanna use a tach given to me. Now the 2nd questionhas anyone ever heard of a Cartronix LED Graphic Tachometer?

to get a map of your ecu plug. Now, find Pin #3 on that map and find it on your ECU Plug. It should be Red/Yellow striping. If its cut, just take the Green Wire from your SAFC harness and solder or crimp it on. If its not already cut, go ahead an cut it because its no use with your gauge cluster. Cut it where you have enough room to solder on your green wire, and tah-dah your tach on the safc works.

Thanks much for this info!!! its what i needed but its not to a SAFC its to some digital tach i think that came off a Honda Goldwing?
