Tachometer problem..

I own a 1990 Nissan 300zx N/T.Everything on the the cluster works fine (gas, speedometer, temp, oil pressure, etc...) except the tachometer. I replaced the whole cluster thinking that was the issue, but the problem remains. Can anybody help me fix this issue?

Obviously its electrical in nature... I think you are probably going to have to start tracing wires. Obviously the circuit from the CAS to the ECU is fine because the car would run like crap or probably not run at all. So its probably somewhere between the ECU and the gauge cluster.

Did you ever have a remote start installed?

No, I do not have remote control installed in the car.Thanks for your advice, I will check the cables in between the ECU and the Tachometer. Do you know Where can I find a Diagram for this particular circuit?. Thanks for your assistance!
