Tachometer problem

i have a bone-stock 91 240sx, i have a problem with my tachometer, it doesnt work at all. im also havin problems with my stereo/speakers etc.

PLease describe the problems a little better. What have you tried ot fix them? Has the car ever had water damage or anything that would mess up electronics? Is EVERY fuse on the car okay? Have you checked the connections behind the radio? Check to see if any ECU wires are cut and check the transmission sensors going to the transmission to see if they are connected. COuld have been someone doing the speed limit removal mod.

well actually, there are a few damaged fuses, not by water, but someone screwed up. Its a 2nd hand car after all. He left a wire and those little red things with a number "10". one of the slots under the hood is empty as well, and there are supposed to be 2 pieces stickin out so you can plug somethin in i think, but the 2nd piece is busted. im pretty sure its not someone tryin to remove the speed governor, because it still works. and about the speakers, only thing i noticed that there is a wire hangin out from under the glub compartment. its green. but i havent really tried that hard to fix either, afraid ill skru it up even more.

WELL IM NOT SURE BOUT ALL UR OTHER PROBLEMS BUT I KNOW WHEN MY TACH WENT OUT ON MY 89.. IT WAS ACTUALLY VERY SIMPLE TO FIX.. BECAUSE THE WIRES THAT MAKE IT RUN RUN AROUND THE STOCK AIR BOX AND STOCK HOSE.. MINE JUST HAPPEN TO HANG TOO LOW AND WERE TOUCHING THE BELTS AND THEY TORE APART.. SO I JUST TIED THEM BACK UP AND THERE THEY GO WORKING AGAIN..

Ok? I don't know where the stock airbox and hose is at? Can you be a little bit more detailed because im having the same problem also. The stupid tach doesn't want to work either. Sometimes it works but jumps a lot; its not smooth. Do you think that if any wires of the tach touch something; does it mess up?
