I recently did an SR20DET swap on a 1990 240sx. I have the stock SOCH tachometer and the rpm gauge doesnt work. I did a search and one guy had the exact same problem. The info that he was given and read by me are totally different. His solution to the problem is find pin#3 on the ECU plug and the wire should be Red/Yellow stripping. I went to my ECU plug and found pin #3 and it was a Yellow/Red stripping. The only Red/yellow stripping was for pin #105. I need help here. Is he right? How do I get my rpm gauge to work?

just replace it with a tach from 91-93 s13. 89-90's have a differnt tach then 91-93

SR was made 91 and up

Wow @ this thread. SOHC tach won't work obviously because the SR is DOHC. Get a DOHC tach please. And search next time.

Redtop91 is about half retarded. Don't listen to him ever unless he's giving you advice on how to get herpies.
