Hi Everyone,

I have an 82 Datsun 720 pickup. I bought a tachometer and installed it on a dashboard. I've got the pulse signal from an intake ignition coil (negative terminal on the low tension circuit). The tachometer has a switch between 4-6-8 cylinder position. Having a two spark per cylinder system, which selection is the right one (4 or 8) for the tachometer switch?

Thanks

should just be 4... the each coil only acts as a 4 cyl coil so 8 seems irrelevant in this situation
