Your going to need a KA24DE gauge cluster, I havent heard of it being done any other way (im not saying its not posible, but just not common).

I have the SR tach in my car. I just put it into the USDM gauge cluster. The problem is, it reads 500 RPM fast. There is a little screw on the back of the tach, that I think will let you adjust it. I've just been too lazy to rip my dashboard apart to fix it.

the KA24e tach WILL NOT work on a SR swap into a 240 as the heartbeats are different...and also remember that the SR is direct ignition (which means the SR DOES NOT have a distributor)

get a JDM tach (which looks cooler cause it goes to 9k rpms) or use one from a twincam KA24

Splicing? Just unscrew the 3 bolts on the SR tach and install it onto your stock cluster. Worked on my '89.

you can do this with the speedo, water and fuel too, if you are displeased with any of those. (my fuel meter sucked and and didn't read right, so i switched it with the one that i got in the dohc cluster just to see, fixed.) The sohc speedo goes to 115 where i think the dohc goes to 110? anyway i kept the 115 gauge and just switched out the odometer so it was original.
