Tach Wont Rise

I just started my car and the tachometer doesnt rise. The gas gauge rises but the tach wont move. The car isnt runnign any differently but i havent driven it yet. I still have a warranty but is this something i could fix myself?

Okay, just drove it, and its fine, argggghhhhh!!! Well, if it happens again, please let me know what i can do or point me to a DIY. Thanks

If it happens again and you still have a warranty, then I guess you already know the answer. Why fix something yourself, when it can be done for free at the stealership for free and less headache of troubleshooting.

Probably a bad connection. Have the dealer do it, getting back there is a more annoyance than the experience would be worth.

i think the needle was just stuck or something b/c i tapped the window and it moved a little then i started the car and it was normal, no problems since.
