I just bought a 96 G20 this weekend, and among some other things, the tach seems to have a loose ground. At least thats the way it acts. Or could it be somthing else? Is there a place that they commenly lose a connection or could it be a sensor?

well, what does it do? why do you think there is a bad ground? clarify. but if the needle is a little twitchy its a common age problem. you dont need a tach anyway. i wouldnt worry about it.
