Tach still not working

Ok, so Ive managed to get my SR swap running and have fixed all my problems except for the tach. I have a 91 so I know that the DOHC tach works with the SR. Ive checked and rechecked the yellow wire with the red stripe and it is properly soldered on, yet my tach still does not work. So my question is, where is the yellow wire connected to on the other end? I traced the wire from the in car clip and it seems to go into the engine bay. Does anyone know where the wire leads to?

it should lead to the CAS IIRC

Is the clip above your ecu that runs to the under dash harness wired correctly?
